Today I Am Grateful for ~
- Being in Oklahoma to see my niece, Ronni, graduate high school.
- My Father's generosity in buying plane tickets for Shaina and I.
- Seeing family members that I haven't seen in years.
- Seeing my "little sister", Sheila (who is a few inches taller than me!) and witnessing how tender hearted she is. I love that about her.
- Seeing my sister Susie and watching the boys she's taken in call her Mom. Phillip and Nate who are 3 and 5 have been with her since Nate was a baby. Susie is the only mother they have known. And it's amazing to see the Mother/Son bond between them. It's a testament to her tender heart.
- Spending time with my brother, Ralpph, whom I adore, 'nuff said.
- Getting to witness the bond between Shaina and her cousins. Very touching.
- Hanging out and getting some "sister time" with Natalie, Ralph's wife.
- Seeing how much Seth and Elisabeth have grown. And getting to experience their personalities. Makes me wish I lived closer so that I could spend more time with them.
- Being able to be a calming influence on Amanda, being able to be loving and firm at the same time with her. She is really a great kid and smart as a whip. I'm glad she spent time with my parents, Shaina, and me.
- Realizing I want to go back soon so I can spend time with the people I didn't get to spend time with this time around.
- The immense love that my family has for each other.
